Water Heaters

There have been so many campaigns on television, media and over the internet about how we should limit our consumerism and get orientated towards using utilities that are nature friendly. We are all called to decrease our consumption of electricity and to use alternative models for heating. It is normal that every household has an electric water heater. But if you calculate how much it costs you per month to use hot water from it, it is not quite cheap. In this case the alternative is to install a gas water heater. What are the advantages of using such a device?

First of all if you install a gas water heater you will save money on installation and the monthly costs for consumables. The reason for this is quite simple – if you don’t have a boiler that contains water, there is nothing to heat all the time and to re-heat when it cools off.

The second advantage is that you will have water 24/7, you don’t have to wait for the boiler to heat the water and to worry about using it up completely and that the rest of the family will not be able to take a shower. This is very convenient when your family is big and you practically make waiting lists for the bathroom. Another positive feature is that the water you are going to get it much cleaner, because it didn’t stay in a tank that becomes rusty and covered with scurf. Also you save a lot of space when you use a gas water heater. You don’t have to worry about installation and repair of the electric boilerwhich is quite a nasty task. For example when you use your washing machine, you put one of those pills that is against corrosion and scurf. But unfortunately you cannot do that for a water boiler. This means that at any moment it can stop heating the water and you have to replace it (believe us when we say that you would prefer that to cleaning it). So having a gas installation at home is the better and cheaper solution because it can last for more than 20 years.

And last but not least, a gas installation is also used for heating your home. The costs for the heating season are much lower compared to using electric appliances like heaters and air conditioning.
